About This Spot

Step inside Burncoat Pizza, and you immediately feel the pulse of a genuine neighborhood gathering spot—unpretentious and welcoming, where the pace slows to the rhythm of friendly conversations and the scent of fresh-baked dough. Nestled in Worcester’s Burncoat neighborhood, this is the kind of place where familiarity and flavor meet, creating a quiet comfort that draws regulars back week after week.

The atmosphere here isn’t about flash or fuss; instead, it’s the warmth of a local joint that takes pride in its roots and its craft. You might find families picking up a party-size cheese pizza for a weekend night in, or friends trading stories over a slice of something unexpected, like the seasonal Gobbler pizza, which celebrates holiday flavors in a way only a hometown favorite could. The rhythm is calm yet contented — a place that buzzes just enough without ever rushing the experience.

Behind the scenes, there’s an evident respect for quality and care, whether it’s the flaky dough of a calzone packed with sausage, peppers, and onions or the crisp, tangy punch of their wings. The menu feels familiar, yet playful, with offerings that invite casual exploration — from hearty subs and zesty wraps to large, customizable pies that satisfy simple cravings as much as adventurous appetites. This is food made to share and to savor without complication.

Burncoat Pizza’s vibe emerges from more than its dishes. It’s in the pride of the people preparing each order, in the quick yet thoughtful delivery service, and the sense that every visit, in-house or at home, is meant to reassure you that good food done well can still feel like a quietly trusted part of your routine. It’s a spot where locals know their favorite slice and newcomers find something uniquely comforting—an authentic taste of Worcester’s community spirit.

Greek style pizza that will satisfy a crowd! This is our go-to spot at least once a week. My boys always are psyched for a party-sized cheese from here!

This is a hidden gem -- not hidden to locals who know how good their pizzas and subs are. At Thanksgiving time they make a 'Gobbler' pizza (a Turkey gravy base followed by stuffing, turkey, and cranberry sauce topped with their pizza cheese). So far I've had the Burncoat special pizza -- excellent! and their Gyro (really good). They have their own website you order from for online orders. Highly recommend!

Best house pizza in Worcester. Won’t go anywhere else. The chefs take pride in their work. Twice now I’ve been told “beautiful pie.” That feels almost as good to hear as the first bite when I get home. Try them out. BBQ crispy chicken pizza with red onions this time.

In one sentence: Burncoat Pizza restored my faith in the way business should be done. I chose to eat here, they not only offered me friendly fast service, they made me food with high quality ingredients. Upon delivery they’re food was fresh, my sandwich and french fries delivered to me in 15 minutes and I was happy customer knowing they treated me with respect. To the entire team at Burncoat Pizza my sincerest appreciation: Thank You Thank you for taking the time to read my honest review. Push the like button to show solidarity to this establishment for their patronage. Thank you

Discovered this place based on their Thanksgiving and pickle pizza. Took weeks to get it because I work the same hours they're open and they wouldn't deliver to my location (6 miles), not even with my bribes. I desperately wanted to try it, so I hustled up someone to grab them for me. Both pizzas were solid. Good toppings, great crust, reasonable prices. If they ever expanded their delivery range, I'd be all about them.

This place kills it!! The pizza is awesome and so is the few other things i have tried. The "gobbler" is not on the menu but bighly reccomend !!! A thanksgiving pizza done right. Only thing i would change is add a tad more gravy next time. Dont look at the price tag this pizza is worth it all day!! Do yourself a favor and get over to burncoat for some pizza.
